Manuel Schimansky

Manuel Schimansky has extensive experience in various roles within the arts and project management sectors. Currently serving in the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek since June 2019 as the Redaktion & Operative Projektbetreuung for the online portal bavarikon, Manuel also holds the position of Geschäftsführer at Avalon Real Estate GmbH since December 2005. Previous roles include Ausstellungskurator at the Buchheim Museum from May 2020 to December 2023, Kunstführer/Cicerone at Residenz München from February 2019 to October 2021, and Auktionsbetreuung, Transport & Logistik at Hampel Fine Art Auctions in 2016. Manuel's earlier experience includes event management and project leadership roles in publishing and management. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Kunstgeschichte and a Bachelor of Arts in Kunstgeschichte and Kunstpädagogik from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
