Christoph Heinen

Christoph Heinen is an experienced professional specializing in security and defense technology, currently serving as the Leitung Sicherheit at Bayern Innovativ GmbH since March 2024. Previously, Christoph held the position of Technologieberater in der Nationalen Kontaktstelle für den Europäischen Verteidigungsfonds at VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH for a brief period in early 2024. From March 2021 to January 2024, Christoph was the Leiter TechHUB Sicherheit und Verteidigung and a Projektmanager Technologie at Bayern Innovativ GmbH. Christoph initiated a career at Zentrum Digitalisierung Bayern (ZD.B) as a Werkstudent, focusing on Smart Cities and Regions from April 2020 to March 2021. Christoph earned a Master's degree in PoWi-Computational Social Science and a Bachelor's degree in Politikwissenschaft from Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg, completing studies in 2021 and 2018, respectively.
