Alice Mao

Alice Mao currently serves as the Medical Director at Texas Children's Hospital, a position held since July 2016. Additionally, Alice has been a Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine since June 2006, where earlier in the same period, Alice also held the role of Associate Professor of Psychiatry. From July 2006 to September 2022, Alice was the Associate Medical Director at DePelchin Children's Center, and prior to that, Alice directed the Community Psychiatry Residency Training at MHMRA of Harris County for 14 years. Alice's educational background includes an MD from Baylor College of Medicine, where Alice completed a Psychiatry Residency Program, an MD from McGovern Medical School, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Psychology from Rice University.
