Deborah Boone

Deborah Boone, MPH, currently serves as Senior Manager of Business Operations in the Department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine since August 2020, additionally holding the role of Business Operations Supervisor in Clinical Ethics & Education. Prior experience includes a Healthcare Administrative Fellowship at the Office of the President at Baylor College of Medicine, as well as positions at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where Boone contributed to the MPH Graduate Program in Healthcare Management as a Graduate Research Assistant focusing on innovation in cancer prevention research. Internships at JPS Health Network and Fannin Innovation Studio provided additional healthcare management and life science operational experience. Prior to this, Boone worked at DWS Group and Deutsche Bank in investment management roles. Boone earned a Master of Public Health in Healthcare Management from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from Hampton University.
