Suzanne E. Speak has extensive experience in human resources, with a focus on strategic leadership and consulting. Suzanne E. is currently serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at Baylor Genetics. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Human Resources at Advanced Diagnostics Hospitals & Clinics and Landmark Houston Hospitality Group. Suzanne also worked as a Principal at SSquared Consulting Solutions.

An important part of Suzanne's career was spent at Memorial Hermann Health System, where they served in various roles, including Vice President of Human Resources, Interim Vice President-Compensation, Benefits & HRIS, System Director of Compensation & HRIS, Director/Sr. HR Business Partner, Project Director of the askHR Service Center, and Director of Human Resources. During their time at Memorial Hermann, Suzanne provided strategic leadership in areas such as talent management, organization design, compensation, employee engagement and retention, and leadership development and coaching. Suzanne E. also played a key role in strategic HR projects and was a trusted advisor to C-suite teams.

Before joining Memorial Hermann, Suzanne worked as a Human Resources Consultant at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Suzanne E. Speak has a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Baylor University. In 2019, they completed their Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Capella University. Suzanne E. also graduated from the Executive Leadership Program at Rice Business, Jones Graduate School of Business in 2018. In terms of certifications, Suzanne obtained their SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in January 2016. Additionally, they received the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in July 2004.
