Sheldon Glass

National Medical Director, Addiction Treatment Services at BayMark Health Services

Sheldon D. Glass, M.Ed., M.D., was appointed National Medical Director for MedMark Treatment Centers on December 1, 2011 and oversees the medical quality program for all opioid treatment programs and other addiction services within BayMark Health Services. Dr. Glass developed the Glass Health Programs in 1970 to provide opioid addiction treatment services to individuals within the Greater Baltimore area. Dr. Glass has been board certified in Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, Adolescent Psychiatry and Pediatrics.

Since 1968, he has been on the staff of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Glass is also a founding and current member of the National Advisory Council of the Johns Hopkins School of Education. He is on the Board of Directors of Friends Research Institute and sits on the governing council for the American Society of Adolescent Psychiatry.
