Suzanne Beckstoffer

Suzanne Beckstoffer is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in both engineering and finance. Currently serving as the First Vice-Chair and previously as Chairman of the Board at BayPort Credit Union since February 1992, Suzanne has held various influential roles including Vice Chair of the Board of Directors and Director. Additionally, Suzanne served as President of SNAME from 1983 until December 2020, during which time leadership responsibilities included the role of President-Elect in 2019-2020 and overseeing membership activities. Suzanne also held the position of Director of Engineering at Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, from 2009 to March 2016. Academically, Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Master of Business Administration from William & Mary.
