Kumbukani Chipeta

Kumbukani Chipeta is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial operations and controls. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Finance - Operations and Controls at Bayport Financial Services since December 2015, Kumbukani oversees the preparation of annual Financial Statements and monthly Prudential returns in compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards. Previous roles at Bayport include Manager and Assistant Manager of Finance, where responsibilities encompassed transaction processing oversight and analytical reviews of general ledger balances. Prior to Bayport, Kumbukani worked at Deloitte Zambia as an Audit Associate, providing assurance for a range of key clients, and completed an internship at KPMG, assisting in audit engagements. Kumbukani holds an ACCA degree in Accounting and Finance from the Zambia Centre for Accountancy Studies and has a Grade 12 certificate from Mpelembe Secondary School.
