Dean Sanpei

Dean Sanpei currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Baystate Health, overseeing strategic direction for the largest healthcare provider in western Massachusetts. Prior to this role, Dean held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Centura Health, where responsibilities included strategy and business development for a significant healthcare network across Colorado, Utah, and western Kansas. Dean's extensive experience in healthcare strategy also includes roles at Intermountain Healthcare, where responsibilities spanned strategic planning for an $8 billion budget and leading initiatives toward population health care transformation. Additionally, Dean contributed to the Utah State Legislature as a Representative, managing a $15.1 billion state budget and implementing healthcare reforms. With a Master's degree in Public Administration from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Dean possesses a strong educational foundation to complement extensive professional expertise.
