Alanna Dayton, PHR, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Alanna is currently working as the Director, People & Talent at Bazaarvoice since August 2019, where they lead a Global Business Partner Team supporting the executive leadership team and directly supports the President as a Business Partner for Global Revenue and Professional Services.

Prior to their current position, Alanna worked as an HR Business Partner for HomeAway/VRBO at Expedia Group from June 2016 to August 2019. Before that, they served as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at CBRE from October 2014 to June 2016.

Alanna also has experience as an HR Business Partner at AppNexus from August 2012 to August 2014. Alanna started their career as a Human Resources Manager for the New York Yankees from May 2009 to February 2012.

Furthermore, Alanna gained initial HR experience as an HR and Recruiting Intern at Bond Steet Group from March 2009 to May 2009. With their extensive experience in various HR roles, Alanna has developed a well-rounded skill set and is equipped to handle diverse HR responsibilities.

Alanna obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Baruch College, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Continuing their education at the same institution, Alanna earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Baruch College between 2010 and 2013. Besides their academic achievements, Alanna also holds the Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification, which they obtained from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in December 2014.
