Ericson Cepeda López

Ericson Cepeda López has a strong background in software engineering and infrastructure roles. Their most recent position was as a CTO at ENTIO Ltd, starting in December 2020. Prior to that, they co-founded and served as a CTO at Altar Ltd starting in January 2018.

From 2016 to 2017, Ericson worked at Bazaarvoice as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer and Technical Lead. During this time, they also took on the role of Senior Data Engineer. Ericson engineered an internal app used by 200 employees for monthly reports and utilized various technologies such as Python, MySQL, ReactJS, and Jenkins.

At Twnel, Inc. starting in November 2014, Ericson was a Senior Software and Infrastructure Engineer and Lead. Ericson achieved high uptime for services and reduced operational and infrastructure costs through CI/CD automation.

Prior to that, Ericson worked at Auvik Networks Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2019 to May 2022. Ericson built the indexing strategy for data aggregation and played a key role in founding the scalability principles for a search engine data warehouse.

From March 2018 to July 2019, Ericson worked at Consulting eSoluzion, where they held roles as a Senior Software Engineer for Zurich and as a Data Engineering Lead / Manager for BBVA. Ericson produced systems, implemented data pipelines, and made design improvements.

At Alert Logic from March 2013 to March 2016, Ericson served as an Automation and Software Engineer. Ericson developed features, integrated tools, and executed automation for testing.

Earlier in their career, Ericson worked as a Systems Analyst and Developer at SQBlueSky, Inc. and as a Lead Software Engineer (co-founder) at Sukha S.A.S. Ericson also held a position as a Systems Analyst and Developer at Sönar.

Throughout their work experience, Ericson has demonstrated expertise in various programming languages and technologies such as PHP, Javascript, Python, and SQL. Ericson has also worked with distributed infrastructures, data warehouses, ETL processes, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.

Ericson Cepeda López obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Systems and Computing Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes. Ericson pursued this degree from 2005 to 2014.
