Laura Cortés has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Laura started their career as a Web Developer at St. Edward's University and later worked as a Sales Associate at Holt Renfrew and a Customer Service Representative at Royal Bank of Canada. Laura then transitioned into the localization and translation industry, first as a Translation Manager Assistant/Project Manager at The Kitchen and later as a Project/Resource Coordinator and a Business Manager Implementation Project Manager at Acclaro. In these roles, they managed the implementation of new business management systems, conducted training sessions for employees, and revised and updated administrative processes. Laura then joined Plunet, Inc. as an Implementation Specialist for the Americas, where they managed simultaneous implementation projects and consulted on localization workflows. Their most recent experience includes roles at Bazaarvoice, where they served as an Implementation Project Manager, Senior Implementation Project Manager, and eventually as the Manager of Program Management. In these positions, they managed multiple enterprise-level projects simultaneously, mentored and developed project management teams, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and owned professional services processes and workflows. Throughout their career, Laura has demonstrated strong project management skills, client relationship management, and the ability to adapt to new software and processes.

Laura Cortés has a diverse education history. Laura pursued their Master's degree in International Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from St. Edward's University, where they studied from 1998 to 2001.
