Neil Lamoureux

Neil Lamoureux is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in data engineering and software development. Currently serving as a Principal Data Engineer at Bazaarvoice since November 2023, Neil has held various leadership roles, including Director of Data Engineering at Granify and Principal Software Engineer at the same company from January 2019 to November 2023. Previous positions include Vice President of Engineering at Scope AR and Chief Technology Officer at iDAvatars, where Neil continued to lead as a senior technologist after the merger with CodeBaby. Neil spent 15 years at CodeBaby as Vice President of Engineering and contributed as an Industry Advisor for the AlbertaSat project at the University of Alberta, guiding engineering students in satellite software development. Neil's career began as an IT Analyst/Programmer at Ed Tel and has included roles in consulting and management at PricewaterhouseCoopers and I. P. Sharp Associates. Educational qualifications include an MBA and a BSc in Mathematics (Honours) from the University of Alberta.
