Piyush Singhal

Piyush Singhal has a diverse and extensive work experience. Piyush began their career at LG Soft India in 2010 as a Software Engineer, where they gained comprehensive knowledge of the Android architecture and conducted research and development of Android-based mobile devices.

In 2013, Singhal joined NXP Semiconductors as a Senior Software Engineer. During their time there, they built an NFC library from scratch that allowed application developers to utilize NFC capabilities in devices running NXP Semiconductor NFC controllers. Additionally, they worked on various modules related to cryptography.

Singhal then moved to Zebra Technologies in 2014, where they served as a Lead Engineer in the Engineering Customer Response Team. In this role, they addressed production issues reported directly by enterprise customers, performing triaging and fixing bugs to ensure smooth product usage. Piyush worked extensively on Android, including kernel internals and writing custom applications.

In 2016, Singhal joined Tekion Corp as an Engineering Manager, focusing on IoT and Hardware Engineering. Piyush built and managed teams responsible for developing a complete digital signage product, an IoT system, and a cloud printing solution. Their expertise spanned project planning, infrastructure development, quality control, and product management.

Most recently, Singhal has assumed the position of Senior Software Development Manager at Bazaarvoice in 2023.

Piyush Singhal completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology between 2005 and 2009. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Software Architecture & Design of Modern Large Scale Systems" from Udemy in October 2022, "Go: The Complete Developer's Guide (Golang)" from Udemy in September 2022, and "Stagement of Accomplishment - Introduction to Python" from DataCamp in May 2017.
