Shashi Kiran

Shashi Kiran is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data and analytics, currently serving as the Director of Data & Analytics at Bazaarvoice since August 2023. Shashi has been an Adjunct Faculty member at Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business since June 2019, teaching analytics with a focus on practical applications across various business operations. As a co-founder of SprigHub, which specializes in AI-driven solutions for spend optimization and customer targeting, Shashi has demonstrated expertise in building teams and guiding analytical approaches to enhance business performance. Prior roles include Head of Business Data Governance and Strategy at Western Digital, where Shashi established a Data Steward community, and Head of Product Analytics & Business Planning in the Retail Business Unit. Shashi's academic contributions also included teaching at UC Davis and a noteworthy managerial career at companies such as Veritas Technologies, Symantec, and Cisco Systems. Shashi holds a PG Diploma in Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
