Abby Adams

Abby Adams is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at the National Association of Home Builders since April 2024, while also holding the position of Assistant General Counsel at BBB National Programs since January 2020. In these roles, Abby has provided critical legal guidance and managed the operations of legal and compliance departments for various organizations. Prior experience includes senior counsel roles overseeing dispute resolution programs and compliance at BBB National Programs, director of legal management services at the Association of Corporate Counsel, and division counsel at Stone Street Capital, where compliance strategies and litigation management were key responsibilities. Abby began a legal career as an associate attorney in civil litigation and gained judicial experience as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Durke G. Thompson. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Political Science from West Virginia University.
