Charlie Halford

Charlie Halford is a Principal Research Engineer at BBC, with a career that has included roles as Lead Architect - Content (Document) and Senior Technical Architect since June 2015. Prior to this, Charlie worked at Ixxus from March 2011 to June 2015 as a Technical Architect and Developer, gaining extensive experience in Alfresco and Drupal platforms, technical leadership, and pre-sales consultancy. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Accenture from June 2007 to March 2011 and as a Barista at Starbucks Coffee Company from July 2006 to June 2007. Charlie holds a BSc in Computer Science from Cardiff University, completed in 2006, and also studied at The Minister College from 1996 to 2001.
