Laura Gaynor

Laura Gaynor is a seasoned journalist and producer with extensive experience in multi-platform media production, currently serving as a Senior Journalist and Impact Producer at the BBC since September 2017. Laura has led over 60 projects in TV Current Affairs, focusing on significant legal and editorial challenges, and has a strong background in digital journalism and content creation for audio platforms. Prior to the BBC, Laura worked as a Digital Producer at RTE, where more than 90 videos were created to make academic research accessible. Laura's career began at Macalla Teo, contributing to children's TV productions and developing digital strategies. Educational achievements include a degree in Film and TV Production from Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology.
