Thaddaeus Varey is an experienced research professional with a strong background in the media and customer insight sectors. Currently serving as Research Manager for BBC Sport and Radio 5 Live since June 2012, Thaddaeus has also held the position of Acting Head of Audiences for the same divisions. Prior to joining the BBC, Thaddaeus worked as a Senior Research Executive at Optimisa Research Limited from April 2010 to June 2012, and gained experience in customer insight at The Co-operative Group from May 2006 to April 2010. Thaddaeus began the career as Locum Co-ordinator at Co-operative Pharmacy from 2002 to 2006. Thaddaeus earned a Bachelor of Science degree in English Language and Linguistics from Durham University, completing studies in 2002.
