Richard Maynard

Richard Maynard has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Richard is currently the Head of Business Development at BBI Solutions, a position they assumed in June 2022. Prior to this, Richard worked as a Teacher of Modern Languages at Reed's School from September 2021 to May 2022. Richard also served as a Student Teacher at NML SCITT (Dulwich College) from August 2020 to July 2021. Richard's previous experience includes being the Deputy Corporate Development Director at LGC, a role they held from September 2016 to April 2020. Before that, they worked as a Partner/M&A Adviser at MCF Corporate Finance, focusing on sell-side and buy-side mandates across various sectors. Richard began their career at Deloitte, where they held positions as an Executive in Corporate Finance Advisory and an Assistant Manager in Financial Services Audit. Richard also interned at the British Embassy Vienna, Stryker Leibinger GmbH & Co. KG, and Expotechnik Group earlier in their career.

Richard Maynard attended Radley College from 1992 to 1997. Richard then went on to study at Bristol University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a BA Hons degree in German & French. In 1999, Richard also studied at Université de Provence for a year, focusing on French Literature & Linguistics. Lastly, from 2001 to 2003, they pursued further education at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, earning an ACA qualification.
