Mauricio Paz

Mauricio Paz is an accomplished executive in the banking and finance industry, currently serving as Executive Director at BBVA Colombia since January 2011, with a focus on Oil & Gas and Infrastructure. Previously, Mauricio held multiple senior positions at BBVA in the USA, including Vice President and Director, and began career as a Senior Analyst at BBVA from 1997 to 2004. Initial professional experience was gained at Gary Plastics Packaging Corp. as Plant Manager and at PTC Plásticos Tuberías y Conexiones as Plant Supervisor. Mauricio holds a Professional Certificate in Sustainability from MIT Professional Education, an MBA in International Finance from St. John's University, and has ongoing education in Credit Risk Management and Credit Analysis from Euromoney Training and New York University, respectively.
