Luis Vasquez Diaz

Luis Vasquez Diaz has over 15 years of experience in the banking sector, currently holding the position of Wholesale Credit Strategy at BBVA en Perú since March 2016. In this role, Luis is responsible for directing growth and portfolio containment strategies for the wholesale segment. Previously, as Wholesale Credit Risk Manager, Luis focused on redesigning and enhancing the proposal admission process and leading the Large Enterprises team. Prior experience includes a role as Head of Corporate Banking at Interbank, where Luis led a team of 10 executives and established strategies to meet divisional goals, structured credit lines, and presented proposals to credit committees. Luis has held various positions within Interbank, including Senior Executive in Commercial Structuring and Risk Analyst in Corporate Banking. Luis earned a degree in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico in 2004.
