Ricardo Martin Manjon is an experienced leader in data, digital banking, and transformation within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Group Head of Data & AI and Global Head of Data Strategy & Data Science Innovation at BBVA since September 2017, Ricardo has held various significant roles at the bank, including Head of Digital Transformation and Head of Multichannel Distribution, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing customer experience and omnichannel strategies. Prior to BBVA, Ricardo was Head of Digital Banking at Nordea and held leadership positions at Uno-e Bank, Deloitte Consulting, and SciEcon Ltd, which Ricardo co-founded. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Quantitative Economics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, along with Global Executive MBAs from Columbia Business School and London Business School, complemented by certification from the Scaled Agile Academy.
