Evelyn Salazar Tenango

Evelyn Salazar Tenango is a Machine Learning Engineer at BBVA AI Factory since November 2022, focusing on the development and monitoring of Large Language Models for the banking industry, as well as leading the design and implementation of code generation assistants. Prior experience includes roles as a Sales Operations Analyst and Intern at DiDi, where Evelyn tracked key performance indicators and managed dashboards to drive decision-making processes. Additionally, experience as a Systems Intern at Universidad Panamericana involved deploying R-scripts for academic monitoring and supporting exam coordination. Evelyn also contributed as Secretary and Team Leader for UP ACM-W, promoting women's participation in STEM fields. Evelyn holds a Master’s degree in Data Science and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Innovation Management from Universidad Panamericana.
