We are looking for a passionate Regional Director in Cincinnati to join our team and make a difference. As a Regional Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in the success of our organization by working closely with teens, the community and other BBYO staff to strengthen and grow our movement locally. You’ll connect in a dynamic environment and create a positive impact on teens, our community, and the world.

SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELF

As a Regional Director, typical responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Cincinnati BBYO program as you work with teens to create impactful, fun and dynamic programs including small and large-scale community projects
  • Finding and engaging new teens through creative planning, programs, and strategy
    • BBYO Connect Middle School program, BBYO Movement Wide Initiatives
  • Using an entrepreneurial approach to build and manage a list of prospective families and teens   
  • Working directly with teens (grades 8-12) to create impactful, fun and dynamic programs that foster a desire to deepen their engagement with BBYO
  • Managing program budget and calendar
  • Managing communication and social media including content creation, production, posting, online conversations, and real-time postings across email and social networks (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok etc)
  • Recruiting and provide guidance and training to BBYO Advisors that work directly with local chapters 
  • Working directly with teen leaders to expand membership and impact of BBYO throughout Cincinnati
  • Building strategic partnerships with organizations, families and teens that creates opportunity for a diverse teen network
  • Attending summer camp (but this time you’re in charge!) as you lead teen leadership programs  
  • Empowering and inspire staff, teens, volunteers and advisors through your mentorship, coaching and training  
  • Staffing regional overnights 3-4 times throughout the year
  • Running a small business as you develop skills in budgeting, membership, marketing, sales, HR and event planning  
  • Managing a budget and tracking and analyzing business metrics  
  • Working with a global team across organizational and geographical boundaries  
  • Building relationships as you network with and travel to other BBYO communities  
  • Managing a team of volunteers and others  
  • Professionalism and the ability to inspire and influence others to action  

ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR MAKING A LASTING IMPACT

Our team has an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for innovation to drive positive change. Additionally, for a Regional Director in Cincinnati, these skills are key to success:

  • Experience: 3-7 years of work experience
  • Education: A bachelor's degree or higher
  • Abilities:
    • Experience with youth or teens is preferred
    • Experience leading teams or projects is preferred  
    • A general knowledge of Jewish culture and calendar   
    • The drive and initiative to excel in time management, project organization, scheduling/planning, and innovation   
    • Ability to travel as needed and to staff a summer leadership program at a location in the U.S. for 2-3 weeks each summer  
    • Unrestricted work authorization to work in the U.S. without holding visa or sponsorship now or in the future

SALARY: $60,000-$70,000
