Gigi Yu

Gigi Yu is an experienced professional in human resources and administration, currently serving as a Talent Acquisition Assistant at BC Assessment since April 2017. In this role, Gigi collaborates with hiring managers throughout the complete recruitment cycle, from job requisition development to onboarding. Prior experience includes serving as a People Services Assistant at BC Assessment, providing administrative support and performing HR transactions, as well as roles at the University of Victoria and Central 1 Credit Union, where Gigi managed confidential information, conducted risk assessments, and supported various insurance processes. Gigi's career began as a Citizens Service Officer for the Government of Canada, where responsibilities included client support and training new employees. Gigi holds a Human Resource Management Certificate from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of British Columbia.
