Elizabeth Avren

Elizabeth Avren is an experienced health promotion specialist currently working at BC Cancer since April 2024, focusing on Indigenous cancer control. Prior to this role, Elizabeth served as a project coordinator at the Canadian Cancer Society from June 2022 to April 2024. Elizabeth's earlier experience includes administrative roles in the Mental Health and Substance Use Unit and the COVID Case & Contact Management Team at Fraser Health Authority between January 2020 and July 2022. Elizabeth also held the position of operations manager at Cactus Club Cafe for a brief period and worked as an engineering intern at UrtheCast from May 2016 to September 2018. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Materials Engineering from The University of British Columbia, completed in 2019, and a Diploma of Cardiac Science from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, obtained in 2020.
