Heather Burns

Heather Burns is an experienced HR professional with a strong background in human resources management across various organizations. Currently serving as the Regional Coordinator for Volunteer Services at BC Cancer Agency since May 2016, Heather has previously held senior HR positions, including Director of Human Resources at Grouse River Outfitters and StarDyne Technologies Inc. Responsibilities have encompassed employee engagement, full cycle recruitment, performance management, and HR strategy development. With extensive consulting experience through HR Focus Consulting, Heather has assisted numerous small to medium-sized companies in establishing HR programs. Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of British Columbia.
