Vivian Cheng is a Genetic Counsellor Educator and Genetic Counsellor at BC Cancer since June 2021. Prior to this role, Vivian worked as a Research Technician and Research Assistant at Virogin Biotech Ltd from May 2017 to August 2019, focusing on the research and development of oncolytic viruses. Experience also includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Child and Family Research Institute, a Summer Scholar at the Terrence Donnelly Centre for Cellular & Biomolecular Research, and an Undergrad Academic Assistant at the Centre for Heart Lung Innovation. Vivian's educational background consists of a Master of Science in Genetic Counseling/Counselor and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biotechnology from The University of British Columbia, as well as additional studies at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Prior work experience includes a position as a Barista and Kitchen Assistant at Sweetery Cafe and Dessert from July 2013 to September 2014.
