Muhammad Arshad Haroon

Muhammad Arshad Haroon has a wealth of experience in software engineering, software testing, and research. Muhammad Arshad began their career in 2007 as an ERP Engineer/Implementation Executive at Huawei, where they worked on Pakistan Ufone Phase 5 and 6 and World Call CDMA LTR II projects. In 2009, they became a Software Engineer at IRLeads Pvt Ltd, where they developed web applications in ASP.NET 3.5 and SQL Server 2005. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Eastern Finland, where they worked on digital image processing, 3D visualization, and electron tomography. Muhammad Arshad also served as a Board Member/Team Member (IT Tools & Digital Media) at IESN/Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland from 2011 to 2018. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Enterpay Oy, where their responsibilities included software development in Scala and MySQL, running queries on MySQL workbench, manual testing, and bug reporting. Muhammad Arshad is currently a QA Specialist at BC Platforms.

Muhammad Arshad Haroon is currently pursuing a PhD in Machine Learning at the University of Eastern Finland, which they began in 2018. Muhammad Arshad previously earned a Master of Engineering in Big Data & Machine Learning from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in 2020. In 2016, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Scientific Computing from the University of Eastern Finland. Muhammad Arshad also holds a BS(CIS) in Computer and Information Sciences from PIEAS, which they completed in 2006.
