Angela Howard

Angela Howard is an experienced Animal Care Attendant currently working at BC SPCA since September 2022, specializing in low-stress animal handling, behavior modification, and animal enrichment. Prior to this role, Angela served in a similar capacity at Pet and Wildlife Rescue from August 2019 to April 2022, where a notable accomplishment included reducing the euthanasia rate significantly. Angela’s background includes various administrative and support roles at Mount Sinai Hospital, including responsibilities in donor relations and tribute programs, alongside leadership positions within Alpha Gamma Delta. Angela holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Biology and Psychology from the University of Toronto, supplemented by an exchange semester in Ecology at The University of Queensland.
