Maria A. Padilla

Maria A. Padilla, SPHR has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Maria A. is currently the Director of Human Resources at BCC Engineering, LLC, where they set the vision for HR and oversees the creation of employee programs. Prior to this, they worked as the Human Resources Manager at BCC Engineering, LLC, where they implemented employee benefit plans and policies and managed all aspects of the employee lifecycle. Maria A. also has experience as the Human Resources Manager at CTL Engineering, Inc., where they oversaw all facets of the employee lifecycle and was a fiduciary in retirement plans. Additionally, they have experience as a General Consultant at BlindWorld USA, Inc., as an Assistant Manager at The Children's Place, and as a Dining Hall Student Manager at Cornell University.

Maria A. Padilla, SPHR, obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University, where they studied Psychology and French Literature from 2000 to 2004. In terms of certifications, they achieved the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute in May 2013. Later, in December 2015, they obtained the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM. Finally, in April 2023, Maria obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) certification from the HRCI.
