Faraz Soleymani, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Faraz is currently serving as the Director of Data & Analytics (CDAO) at BC Financial Services Authority since August 2022.

Prior to this, they worked at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) Société canadienne d'hypothèques et de logement(SCHL) from 2016 to 2022. During their time at CMHC, they held multiple roles including Advisor Client Solution, Member of Pension Council and Pension investment committee, Manager Business Planning & Optimisation, Specialist Financial Solutions, and Innovation Fund Consultant. In these roles, they demonstrated strong analytical skills, underwriting loans, assessing markets and borrowers, and developing funding frameworks.

Faraz also has experience working at Ericsson as a Strategy & International Business Development professional from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Strategy & Operation Management Consultant at Concordia Small Business Consulting Bureau (CSBCB) from 2014 to 2015, and as a Business Analyst, Project Management (Intern) at BOMBARDIER in 2014.
