Oussama Chakroun

Oussama Chakroun, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Oussama held the position of Senior Director, Investment Risk Modelling at BCI from April 2021 to the present. Prior to that, they served as Director, Investment Risk Modelling at BCI from April 2019 to April 2021. Oussama also worked as Director, Credit and Counterparty Risk at BCI from April 2017 to April 2019.

Before joining BCI, Oussama was a Senior Manager at the National Bank of Canada from June 2014 to March 2017. Prior to that, they were a Lecturer at HEC Montreal from September 2002 to March 2017, where they taught executive education courses on credit derivatives.

Earlier in their career, Oussama worked as a Senior Manager at Deloitte from October 2010 to June 2014 and as a Senior Advisor at Investissement Québec from March 2008 to October 2010.
