Tricia Ramdass has a long and varied work history, beginning in 2000 when they were hired as a Court Clerk for the City of Yuma Municipal Court. In this role, they were responsible for disposition of civil and criminal cases, issuance of warrants, subpoenas and sanctions, public information, trial case scheduling, file disposition, counseling compliance, and various clean-up projects. In 2004, they were hired as a School Success Grant Clerical/Admin Assistant for San Pasqual Valley Unified School District, where they were tasked with assisting the Grant Administrator in planning and coordination of grant programs, developing data acquisition methods, analyzing and reviewing grant data, and providing statistics to track growth, identify trends and inefficiencies. In 2007, they were hired as a Test Coordinator for Trax Test Services International, where they reviewed and analyzed test data for Department of Defense test projects, composed technical writing documents and edited reports, and summarized test results for official reporting. In 2009, they returned to Yuma County Department of Development Services as an Office Specialist II, providing administrative support and records management for multiple divisions. In 2013, they were hired as an Office Specialist III with Yuma County, where they monitored and reviewed grant budget for PHEP and MRC programs and assisted with development of PHEP budgets and planning. In 2015, they returned to Yuma County Department of Development Services as an Executive Assistant Planning & Zoning, preparing board and commission meeting packets, agendas, minutes, correspondence, and documentation, and managing electronic and hard copy records. Tricia also worked as a volunteer coach for Odyssey of the Mind during this time. In 2017, they were promoted to Associate Planner / Deputy Zoning Inspector with Yuma County Department of Development Services, performing comprehensive reviews of construction and development permit applications, reviewing and processing variance applications, and preparing maps and other graphic presentations. Tricia was also promoted to Executive Assistant to Department Director, communicating with department personnel on behalf of the Director, liaising between staff and director, and being entrusted with confidential managerial, department, and personnel issues. In 2020, Tricia was hired as an Administrative Support III - Planning with the City of Olathe, managing meeting and case agendas, case workflow, post-meeting communication and follow-up, responding to customer inquiries, and processing case applications. In 2022, Tricia was hired as an Account Services Manager with Benefit Communication Insourcing.
Tricia Ramdass obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree from Arizona Western College between 1997 and 1999, majoring in General Studies. Tricia then completed a BBS-HRM degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from the University of Phoenix between 2011 and 2013. In 2018 and 2019, they completed a course of study in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning at Northern Arizona University. Additionally, they have a certification as an NSC First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor from the National Safety Council.
