Heather Burns

Heather Burns has extensive experience in international development and program management, currently serving as Director at the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) since August 2015. Prior roles at BCIU included Senior Program Officer and Program Officer focused on Africa. Previous professional experiences encompass a Development Assistant position at The University of Queensland, an internship at Living Positive Mlolongo, and various positions at BIPAC, culminating as Manager of Grassroots Services. Heather's background includes grant research, website management, and coordination of grassroots initiatives, complemented by education in International Affairs from American University and further studies at the Institut Catholique de Paris.
