Jim Gudjonson

Jim Gudjonson is a seasoned professional in sustainability and mountain guiding, with over 25 years of experience in both fields. Currently serving as the Manager of Sustainability Innovation at BCLC since March 2021, Jim has previously held significant roles, including Senior Manager of Electric Vehicle Programs at Plug-in BC and Director of the Office of Environment & Sustainability at Thompson Rivers University. With expertise in developing sustainability strategies and implementing innovative projects, Jim has achieved notable recognitions for TRU, including two global number one rankings in sustainability. Additionally, Jim has a robust background in mountain guiding and education, contributing to adventure tourism programs and undertaking over 30 international mountain expeditions. Jim holds a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on Sustainability Studies from Royal Roads University.
