Damita Byrd, CDP has a wealth of experience in the field of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. Damita has been in this field since 2018, when they began working as Senior Director of Diversity & Inclusion at the Empowerment Network. In 2020, they took on the role of Senior Director of Diversity Equity & Inclusion at BCT Partners. Before that, they worked at Conagra Brands from 2005-2018, where they held multiple roles, including Manager of Diversity & Inclusion, Senior Organizational Development Diversity & Inclusion, SAP Systems Trainer in Information Technology, and Accounts Payable Lead.

Damita Byrd, CDP holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Grambling State University. In addition, they have obtained two certifications: a HBDI Certification from Herrmann Brain Dominance International in August 2012 and a Managing Diversity in the Work Place certification from Bellevue University in March 2011.
