Donella Lampkin, MSHS, has a wide range of professional experience. Donella began their career in 2004 as a Student Driver Manager at Werner Enterprises, where they managed 250 driver trainers, served as a liaison between students and the corporate office, and facilitated training using department curriculum and materials. In 2006, they moved to the Omaha Housing Authority as a Resident Employment Coordinator. In 2007, they began working for the State of Nebraska as a Protection & Safety Worker Trainee, where they conducted family assessments for adjudicated ongoing abuse and neglect cases, established safety plans, initiated court interventions, developed and implemented treatment plans, and authorized and coordinated family services. Donella also worked for the Urban League of Nebraska, Inc. that same year as a Business Placement Coordinator, where they planned, organized, and coordinated the activities of social service programs and oversaw program policies. In 2008, they were the Omaha Healthy Start Consortium Chair at Charles Drew. From 2009 to 2019, Donella was an Adjunct Professor at both Doane University and Nebraska Wesleyan University, where they explored historical foundations of cultural frameworks in the United States, immigrant cultures, cultural tolerance, empowerment, and the close intersections of our global community. In 2018, they became a Product Lifecycle Management Specialist at Conagra Brands. Most recently, in 2021, Donella began working as a Manager of Diversity Equity & Inclusion at BCT Partners.
Donella Lampkin, MSHS, obtained a Masters of Science in Human Services from Capella University in 2007. Donella also earned a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2003. In 2021, they obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education. In 2017, they completed the Great Plains Leadership Institute at UNMC College of Public Health.
