Jie Dong

Director of Community and Social Innovation at BCT Partners

Jie Dong began their career in 2003 as a Regional Resident Service Coordinator at Evans Property Management, Inc. where they developed and managed strategic partnerships with service providers and coordinated daily social services programs. In 2010, they became the Director of Resident Services at EPMI, a Bayside Company, where they oversaw social services program delivery at 21 affordable housing communities and administered several HUD Resident Services Coordinator grants. In 2016, Jie joined BCT Partners as the Director of Community and Social Innovation, leading a variety of projects ranging from large, complex, multi-disciplinary engagements to smaller, niche projects providing project and program management, technical assistance, research and evaluation. Jie is currently the project manager for the firm's U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Compass Technical Assistance and Capacity Building grants.

Jie Dong attended the University of California, Davis from 1999 to 2003 where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Jie then attended California State University - East Bay from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Master of Arts in Sociology.
