Julian Carter

Julian Carter has held various positions in the IT and engineering industry since 2006. Julian began their career as a Systems Engineer at Rockwell Collins, where they worked on implementing Python test scripts on new navigation software for the CH-47F (CHINOOK) army cargo helicopters. From there, they moved to SCCI in 2008 and worked as a Systems Engineer, developing and supporting System Requirement Artifacts, reviewing and providing comments on submitted software Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), analyzing and tracking submitted ECPs, and supporting the Tomahawk ISP certification effort. In 2010, they joined BAE Systems as a Systems Engineer and in 2011, they moved to Constellation Software Engineering as a Requirements Manager. In 2013, they began working as a System Engineer at Resource Metrix, and in 2015, they held two positions simultaneously at Octo Consulting Group as a Requirements Analyst and Vistronix as a System Analyst. Julian is currently employed as a Sr. Business Analyst at BCT Partners.

Julian Carter obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland between 2001 and 2006. Julian also attended Oxon Hill High School from 1997 to 2001. In addition, Julian holds certifications from LinkedIn and the Scrum Alliance, including Product Management Foundations, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Agile Product Owner Role: Foundations, Agile at Work: Building Your Agile Team, Agile at Work: Planning with Agile User Stories, and Transitioning from Waterfall to Agile Project Management.
