Michael Truesdale has worked in various roles in the education and early childhood education field since 2010. From 2010 to 2014, they were an Early Childhood Teacher at City Schools of Decatur. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Family Engagement Advocate at Partnership for Community Action Head Start Division. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Center Director at Partnership for Community Action Head Start Division. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Center Manager at YMCA Of Metro Atlanta. From 2017 to 2019, they were an Instructional Specialist -ECE at District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). Since 2019, they have been a School Director at Educare DC. Currently, they are a Program Manager Region IV-ACF/OHS/HHS at BCT Partners, providing support to Region 4 for the Office of Head Start, serving Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Mississippi.
Michael Truesdale earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from University of South Carolina Upstate between 2007 and 2010. Michael then went on to receive a Master of Science (M.S.) in Human Services, General from Capella University between 2013 and 2014.
