Steve Cowen is an experienced mortgage banking professional with a robust career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as SVP, Director of Mortgage Banking at BCT - Bank of Charles Town since April 2018, Steve previously held the position of VP, Sr. Loan Officer at Atlantic Coast Mortgage, LLC from September 2013 to April 2018. Earlier experience includes a significant role as Director of Mortgage Production at Middleburg Mortgage from July 1998 to September 2013, where Steve contributed to the establishment and growth of the company's residential mortgage platform, achieved numerous awards for production, and developed vital relationships with industry partners. Steve began their career at CitiFinancial as a Branch Manager and later worked as an Underwriter at Chevy Chase Bank. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Insurance from Radford University.
