Curator Of The Rare Book Collection At The Cantonal And University Library Of Lausanne at BCU Lausanne

Marc Tiefenauer serves as the Curator of the Rare Book Collection at the Cantonal and University Library of Lausanne since April 2021, overseeing the administration of the department dedicated to antiquarian and rare books. Previously, Marc was a Scientific Librarian focused on Oriental Studies at Lausanne University Library from November 2010 to April 2021, where responsibilities included the development and conservation of various Orientalist collections. Marc has a background in web development as a freelancer (July 2006 - October 2010) and served as a copywriter at WGR from April 2002 to June 2006. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sanskrit from the University of Lausanne, with research proficiency in Chinese, Tibetan, Persian, and Hindi.
