Matthew Correia-Brown has extensive work experience in the field of data privacy. Matthew is currently employed at BCW Global as the SVP - Global Head of Data Privacy. Prior to that, they worked at Burson Cohn & Wolfe as the Global Head of Data Privacy. Matthew also held the position of Privacy Lead Europe and Africa at BCW Global. Earlier in their career, Matthew worked at Tempur Sealy International as a Data Privacy Manager, where they ensured GDPR and local data privacy compliance and implemented procedures for employee awareness. Matthew also worked as a Finance and Operations Assistant at Tempur Sealy International, handling bank reconciliations and creating databases for contract maintenance. Matthew's earlier experiences include a research placement at Medizinische Hochschule Hannover, where they worked on cutting-edge research in immunology, and a role as a Student Ambassador at Keele University, where they assisted with events and projects and interacted with a wide range of people.

Matthew Correia-Brown obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Forensic Sciences and Biology from Keele University in the years 2009 to 2013. Matthew then pursued an ACCA degree in Accountancy F1, F2, F3, F4, and F5 from BPP in 2016 to 2017. In 2015, they completed a Level 2 Course in Russian Language at King's College London and a Basic UK Accounts course in Accounting and Finance at Skillsology. Matthew also attended Uxbridge High School from 2001 to 2008. Furthermore, they have obtained various certifications in privacy technology and management from OneTrust and the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
