Eden Barrera Jr

Eden Barrera Jr. has extensive experience in design and engineering, currently serving as Design Manager and previously as Senior Design Engineer at BD Energy Systems, LLC since November 2018. Prior roles included Estimator, Senior Proposal Designer, and Senior Lead Designer/Checker at Petro-Chem Development Co., Inc. from March 2013 to November 2018, as well as Lead Mechanical Designer/Checker at CB&I. Earlier roles at KTI Corporation involved work as a Furnace Lead Designer and included generating detail drawings for fabrication. Eden also worked as a Steel/Furnace Designer at Technip and as a Structural Steel Detailer in a self-employed family business and at TECHNACAD Services. Education includes studies at the University of Houston and PDMS Certification in CAD/CADD Drafting from Houston Community College. Proficient in software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Adobe products, with specialization in designing Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) systems and Air-Preheat systems.
