In this role, they are responsible for growing the company's footprint by establishing a new office in Jacksonville and building strong relationships with local and national clients.

Prior to joining BDG Architects, Holly worked at NELSON Worldwide from 2008 to 2021, where they held the position of Studio Director, Mixed-Use/Retail. Holly Grimes, AIA, pursued their education in architecture, focusing on both their undergraduate and graduate studies. From 1999 to 2002, they attended Tennessee Technological University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Architecture & Interior Design under the School of Human Ecology. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Florida from 2004 to 2007, earning a Master of Architecture degree.

In addition to their formal education, Holly Grimes also obtained several certifications related to their field. In 2009, they became a Legacy LEED AP (New Construction) through the U.S. Green Building Council. Holly also holds the title of ARCHITECT, which was awarded by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Furthermore, Holly Grimes is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
