Dhara Parikh

Dhara Parikh has over 10 years of experience in the communications and publicity field. Dhara currently holds the position of Associate Director of Communications at BDG, where they started in February 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Communications Manager at BDG from March 2020 to March 2022.

Before joining BDG, Dhara worked at Penguin Random House as a Senior Publicist from July 2018 to March 2020. Dhara also held roles such as Publicist, Associate Publicist, and Publicity Assistant at Penguin Random House from December 2017 to July 2018, December 2015 to December 2017, and May 2014 to December 2015 respectively.

Dhara began their career at People StyleWatch Magazine as a Publishing Assistant from January 2013 to May 2014. Following that, they gained experience as a Publicity Intern at Henry Holt & Company from September 2012 to December 2012 and at Penguin Group USA from June 2012 to August 2012.

Dhara's early professional experience also includes an Editorial Internship at CollegeHumor.com from January 2012 to May 2012. Dhara has demonstrated a strong commitment to the communications industry throughout their career, with a focus on publicity and communications management roles.

From 2009 to 2012, Dhara Parikh attended New York University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Dramatic Writing.
