Elly Ayres has extensive experience in the fashion and media industry. Elly started their career in 2013 as a Contributing Writer and Blogger for The Independent Florida Alligator, where they covered fashion events and provided fashion advice on a student budget. Elly also worked as a Sales Associate for Pink Narcissus, assisting customers with purchases and managing social media platforms. In 2014, Elly interned as a Marie Claire Fashion Features Intern at Hearst Magazines, where they gathered credit information and researched designers. Elly further developed their skills as a Web Producer and Supervising Editor at WUFT News, where they edited and fact-checked stories and assigned articles to editors. Elly expanded their fashion content writing skills at Council for the Advancement of Science Writing as a Reporter, attending conferences and interviewing scientists. Elly Ayres completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism as well as a minor in French and Francophone Studies at the University of Florida. Elly attended the university from 2011 to 2014.
