George Bagkalas

George Bagkalas is a seasoned professional in the fields of private equity and alternative investment fund services, currently serving as a Partner at BDO Luxembourg since November 2024. Bagkalas co-founded Yollty in September 2016 and has been actively involved as an angel investor in various startups since April 2016. Previously, Bagkalas held the position of Head of Private Equity and was a member of the Executive Committee at Langham Hall until November 2024, and has served on the boards of New Mountain Capital and Notion Capital. Bagkalas founded Crius, overseeing its operations from December 2019 to October 2021, and has extensive experience from roles at PwC and EY, where roles included Senior Manager and Manager, respectively. Educational qualifications include a General Management degree from Harvard Business School, an MSc with distinction from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a leadership program at Cambridge Judge Business School.
